2007 – Attorney Jay Kearns was first named a Connecticut Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers magazine, signifying his selection to the top 5% of attorneys in the state, based on scores from their peers and through independent research.
2004 – Kearns & Kearns, P.C., is certified for inclusion among The Martindale-Hubbell® Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers™, “the definitive guide to the most distinguished law firms in America.”
The Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register is limited to only the most distinguished law practices; those that have achieved the AV® rating in the Martindale-Hubbell® Law Directory. 1999 – Attorney Jay Kearns is inducted a Fellow of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, a national honor acknowledging his exceptional commitment to the service of mature persons.
1995 – Attorney Jay Kearns is qualified as Connecticut’s first attorney to be board certified as an elder law attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation under accreditation by the American Bar Association.
